Job summary

NMC is seeking healthcare professionals in the UAE to refer patients to specialists when needed and to make swift, informed decisions based on patient history and presenting symptoms.

The role emphasizes understanding patient needs, delivering expert service within scope, and maintaining precise, compliant task execution while fostering a positive client experience.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years’ experience in the relevant specialised department in a private hospital setting.
• Work experience from a Tier 1 country as specified by the UAE healthcare regulator.
• Basic medical degree recognised by the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
• Diploma or training in a speciality recognised by the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
• Active and valid lifesupport certification (e.g. BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).

Responsibilities

• Referring patients to specialists and consultants in hospital departments, as needed.
• Responsible in making swift and effective decisions based on the presenting symptoms, and the patient’s current and previous medical history.
• Identifies and understands the needs and expectations of clients in a professional manner, and shares with relevant team members.
• Continuously builds and shares knowledge to deliver expert service within own scope of work, drawing on expertise of others as needed, and shares knowledge.
• Responds to client complaints in a timely and effective manner and provides feedback on progress.
• Keeps clients up to date with relevant and accurate information and involves them in decisions that affects them.
• Focuses on consistently delivering a positive client experience.
• Completes tasks in accordance with set procedures and guidelines.
• Takes care to perform all tasks precisely and accurately to minimise errors.
• Identifies and reports non-compliance to relevant stakeholders, constructively.
• Continuously evaluates quality of own work and provides feedback on progress.
