Job description

Via Medica International Healthcare LLC is looking for a General Practitioner (MD) - Chinese National for an upcoming project in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications :

  • MBBS Education
  • At least 3-5 years of experience
  • Current BLS, PHTLS, ACLS required

Responsibilities :

  • Works with the Health and Safety team and provides support in health and safety related matters.
  • Consults with patients, prescribing medicine and leading proper treatment.
  • Coordinates and supervises the site health team.
  • Maintains record of vaccination and provides guidance with vaccination based on the vaccination protocols of the assigned site.
  • Coordinates with the site medical facility and arranges the facility for regular inspection by the health authority.
  • Assists in incident investigations and near misses.
  • Provides daily medical guidance on staff health issues.
  • Ensures the privacy of the patient’s interests and wellbeing at all times including patient confidentiality.
  • Shares specialist clinical knowledge with colleagues and be involved in the delivery of ongoing training, education, and support of colleagues.
  • Actively participates in identifying Health and Safety risk issues.
  • Accesses and ensures effective use of the language systems required for people with language or communication barriers.
  • Responsible and accountable for decisions made relating directly to patient care requirements, following clinical consultation and assessment.
  • Identifies and responds to life-threatening cases and arranges appropriate ambulance service with available medical facility.
  • Advises HSE & Management for potential health risks of employees.
  • Ensures all arrangements for the patient to be further examined / treatment by the particular care provider or hospitals, should onward referral be required.
  • Ensures highly personal, delicate, confidential reports are handled properly in accordance with existing protocols.
  • Participates in regular formal and informal communications with team members and other members of the Health and Safety department.
  • Performs and maintains health and hygiene inspection.
  • Participates in Fire & Safety and other emergency evacuation drills.
