Main Duties
- Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, physical examinations, and history taking for patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and medical investigations as needed.
- Assess patient suitability and medical fitness prior to aesthetic or dermatological procedures.
- Administer injectable treatments such as Botox, fillers, and skin boosters following clinic protocols.
- Support and oversee non‑surgical aesthetic procedures, ensuring appropriate pre‑ and post‑treatment care.
- Provide clear explanations to patients, obtain informed consent, and manage expectations professionally.
- Identify, manage, and document any adverse reactions or complications in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate with dermatologists, laser technicians, and nursing staff to provide multidisciplinary patient care.
- Order and prepare IV fluids with appropriate additives where indicated.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and records in line with professional standards.
- Promote patient education, wellness, and safe aesthetic practices.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
- Licensed General Practitioner with approved non‑surgical cosmetic practice privilege.
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent).
- Valid MOH license to practice as a General Practitioner.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience; aesthetic medicine experience preferred.
- Training or certification in injectables (Botox, fillers, skin boosters) is an advantage.
- BLS Certificate holder.
Knowledge & Skills
- Experience in DentiMax Software
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent patient communication and counselling abilities.
- Knowledge of aesthetic medicine techniques and safety standards.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Proficient in medical documentation and use of EMR systems.
- High level of professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.
- Willingness to participate in continuous learning and clinic development programs.
Work Conditions
Work is performed in a medical and aesthetic clinic setting. The environment may involve exposure to biohazards (body fluids, needles, medications) and requires adherence to infection control and safety protocols. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and uniforms must be worn at all times.
