General Manager – Passenger Vehicles

Our diversified portfolio includes sectors such as Automotive, Retail, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Logistics. We are currently seeking a General Manager – Passenger Vehicles to join our Automotive Dealership division in Dubai.
JOB PURPOSE:
To lead the strategic development, positioning, and commercial performance of the Passenger Vehicles portfolio by aligning brand strategy with evolving consumer needs, lifestyle trends, and retail dynamics. This role is responsible for translating customer insights into product and marketing strategies, working closely with OEM partners to ensure brand distinction and relevance in a competitive market. The Brand Manager will also collaborate with the shared services marketing team to develop impactful sales tools and campaigns, while owning the overall profitability and growth of the passenger vehicle brands under their stewardship.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
OEM Relationship Management:
Act as the primary brand and marketing liaison for each passenger vehicle OEM.
Ensure each OEM receives tailored brand support, visibility, and strategic alignment.
Co-develop product narratives, launch plans, and brand campaigns in partnership with OEMs.
Product Marketing & Go-to-Market:
Lead go-to-market strategies for new model launches and refreshes.
Define and communicate compelling value propositions for each vehicle line.
Align product messaging with customer aspirations and lifestyle positioning.
Sales Enablement & Shared Services Collaboration:
Work closely with the central Marketing Manager (shared services) to develop sales tools, digital assets, and showroom materials aligned with OEM branding.
Support retail and field sales teams with training content, competitive insights, and customer-facing materials.
Monitor campaign effectiveness and adapt based on performance and feedback.
Brand Experience & Retail Engagement:
Ensure consistent and premium brand experiences across all customer touchpoints, including digital, showroom, and events.
Collaborate with retail teams to enhance customer engagement and conversion.
Drive brand loyalty and advocacy through targeted programs and activations.
Portfolio Profitability:
Own the commercial performance of the passenger vehicle portfolio, including revenue, margin, and product mix.
Collaborate with finance, pricing, and commercial teams to optimize profitability.
Recommend pricing strategies, promotional plans, and volume targets.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Automotive Management, or a related field.
6–10 years of experience in brand management, product marketing, or automotive retail strategy.
Must have experience in Passenger Vehicles portfolio segment
Strong understanding of consumer behavior, lifestyle branding, and retail marketing.
Proven experience working with OEMs and managing multi-brand portfolios.
Ability to translate technical product features into emotionally resonant customer messaging.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Fluent in English.
