Job Description

Role Purpose:

Provide overall leadership and strategic direction to TSS, for achieving its vision of becoming a leader in Safety products.

Instill confidence and commitment from all stakeholders to ensure safe, commercially viable, and sustainable operations, while providing quality customer service, meeting shareholder requirements, and achieving strategic objectives.

Key Accountabilities:
Mission, Vision and Values
  • Provide an empowering view of TSS vision, values, and strategic objectives, ensuring full awareness of the organization's current and future market position and key strategic pillars.
Corporate Strategy & Business Planning:
  • Lead the formulation, approval, and implementation of overall strategy and long-term business plans to realize TSS's vision and strategic goals.
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of operational plans aligned with long-term business objectives.
Corporate Governance:
  • Develop sound corporate governance practices compliant with international standards to support TSS operations and protect its interests.
  • Ensure organizational adherence to governance practices and support the Board in fulfilling responsibilities and statutory obligations.
  • Implement risk management processes to mitigate risks and safeguard TSS interests.
Financial Planning and Reporting:
New Product Development
Human Capital Management
  • Achieve progressive levels of customer centricity and satisfaction by implementing an effective fulfillment ecosystem aligned with global customer requirements, core competencies, and regulatory considerations.
  • Plan for diversification in product and customer portfolios, influencing regional regulatory mechanisms for risk mitigation and business growth.
  • Embed sustainability mechanisms such as circular economy practices and renewable energy usage to enhance TSS's reputation and alignment with global sustainability practices.
Decision Making:
Communication & Working Relationships
Minimum Qualifications:

Masters degree, MBA, Executive Program in Management, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with MBA in General Management / Sales & Marketing / Operations.

Experience:
  • Minimum: 15 years total experience with at least 5 years in leading similar organizations within the industry.
  • Preferred: 20 years in the Formwork and Scaffolding industry, with 5 years leading Safety and allied products manufacturing organizations to achieve growth across global markets.
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Good knowledge of steel, height safety, and netting industry.
  • Knowledge of financial management including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Ability to build consensus among executives, partners, and workforce.
  • Understanding of HR and personnel management.
  • Experience with corporate governance.
  • Quick understanding of new issues and wise decision-making.
  • Ability to inspire confidence and trust.
  • Work under pressure, plan effectively, and delegate tasks.
