Are you a commercially driven leader with regional expertise across the Middle East and North Africa? We are representing a global manufacturer in the fire protection and life safety systems sector, currently seeking a General Manager to lead its operations across the MENA region.

Based in Dubai, this newly created position is a pivotal part of the company’s global expansion strategy, with a focus on revenue growth, brand visibility, and market penetration in high-potential territories such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead regional commercial strategy and deliver revenue targets
• Develop and implement regional sales plans aligned with global objectives
• Manage pricing structures, discounting approvals, and margin performance

Operational Oversight

• Serve as the legal representative for the region (banking, compliance, utilities)
• Manage the Dubai office and coordinate third-party logistics (3PL) partners
• Ensure efficient order processing, stock control, and compliance with customs / import regulations

Team Development

• Build and lead a high-performing regional team across sales and operations
• Collaborate with global business units to align local execution with broader strategy

Marketing & Brand Awareness

• Support the global marketing team in regional event planning, trade shows, and sponsorships
• Oversee execution of promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and support commercial outcomes

Performance & Financial Management

• Define KPIs and monitor performance across all initiatives
• Manage the regional budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources

Candidate Profile

• Significant experience in a senior commercial or general management role within the fire safety, building technologies, or a technical product environment
• Strong knowledge of the MENA region, with a track record of market development and operational leadership
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Previous experience aligning regional operations with international strategies
