General Manager (Fruits, Seafood, and Food Products)
Oversee the sourcing and procurement of high-quality fruits, seafood, and food products, establishing strong relationships with suppliers to ensure freshness and sustainability.
Implement and enforce strict quality control measures to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring product safety and consistency.
Develop and manage budgets, forecasting sales trends, and analyzing financial performance to drive profitability and cost-efficiency across all product lines.
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative culture that empowers employees to achieve their best performance.
Design and execute innovative marketing strategies to promote product lines, increase market share, and enhance brand visibility in the competitive landscape.
Monitor inventory levels and optimize supply chain processes to reduce waste and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the fruits, seafood, and food products sectors.
Collaborate with sales teams to develop pricing strategies and sales initiatives that align with market trends and customer demands.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as environmental standards, by conducting regular audits and training sessions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred for advanced strategic insight.
A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the food industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role focusing on fruits and seafood.
Professional certifications in food safety management or quality assurance, such as HACCP or ISO 22000, are highly desirable.
Proven track record in supply chain management, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and inventory control systems.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial analysis and budget management to drive decision-making and strategic planning.
Exceptional leadership capabilities, with a focus on team development and fostering a positive work environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus for international collaboration.
Deep knowledge of market trends and consumer preferences in the fruits and seafood sectors, with a passion for innovative product development.
Cultural sensitivity and adaptability, especially in working with diverse teams and global suppliers.
