General Manager – Facilities Management Service Provider – Dubai, UAE

Our client is a reputable UAE based organization and a leading FM Service Provider. They are currently seeking a General Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for running a medium-large sized FM operation delivering TFM services to UAE based clients. The role will be focused toward managing the business as a whole and responsibilities will include:

  1. Day to day Operations (Through an experienced management team)
  2. Management of the Commercial/Bid/BD team
  3. Full P&L responsibility
  4. Strategic direction of the company

Candidates should be experienced in the above and have a strong understanding of delivering FM services through a large blue collar workforce. In addition, candidates should have a very good understanding of the local FM Market to help enable them to maintain growth within the business. This is an exciting opportunity that will suit individuals who are looking for the next step up in their career, or for a proven GM level individual seeking a new role.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Facilities Management or Building Maintenance Experience
  2. Diploma or degree level qualifications
  3. Experience managing a large blue collar technical team
  4. Commercial acumen (P&L management)
  5. A network to aid in the Business Development of the UAE FM sector
  6. Operational day to day management experience of an FM company
  7. Excellent written and spoken English
  8. Good report writing skills
