General Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our operations in the construction and steel industry in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, business development, and team leadership, driving the company towards sustainable growth and operational excellence. As a strategic thinker and motivator, you will be instrumental in shaping our business strategy and ensuring a high standard of performance across all departments.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversight of all business operations and resource management.
2. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve growth and profitability.
3. Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
4. Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
5. Ensure compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements.
6. Monitor financial performance, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
7. Identify market trends and business opportunities to drive expansion.
8. Review and approve project proposals and operational plans, ensuring alignment with company goals.
9. Facilitate regular team meetings and ensure effective communication across departments.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Proven experience of Minimum 20 years as a General Manager or similar managerial role in the construction or steel industry.
2. Strong knowledge of steel fabrication business operations and Portacabin Industry.
3. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
4. Ability to strategically plan and implement business initiatives.
5. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
8. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
