General Manager

Role Overview:

Seeking a highly motivated General Manager to manage UAE operations. Responsibilities include overseeing accounting and tax obligations, daily business activities, and supporting regional growth. This role demands a broad skill set and proactive approach, with a preference for experience in UAE free zone companies and relevant accounting or tax qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review monthly accounting.
2. Prepare and review VAT and Corporate Tax returns.
3. Provide expert guidance on accounting best practices and tax regulations.
4. Manage client communications.
5. Coach and mentor team members.
6. Identify growth opportunities and new clients.
7. Attend networking events for company promotion.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

1. Chartered Accountant or Tax Advisor certification.
2. Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
3. Fluency in Arabic and English.
4. Eligibility for FTA tax agent exam.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in a similar role.
2. Completion of FTA tax agent exam.
3. Experience with freezone companies, especially in marketing, e-commerce, and SaaS sectors.
