Job summary

A leading hospitality brand is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure all Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing/HVAC equipment is well-maintained in a luxurious hotel environment. The ideal candidate will report to the Shift Supervisor, perform troubleshooting and repairs, and assist in preventive maintenance to uphold the highest operational standards. Candidates should have a secondary school diploma plus technical training and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a hotel.
  • Good basic English skills required.
  • Experience with hotel room facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Report daily work progress to the Shift Supervisor.
  • Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting for guest room complaints.
  • Perform preventive and annual maintenance programs.
  • Adhere to safety rules and departmental procedures.

Job description

To maintain all Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing/HVAC equipment in good working condition by carrying out necessary repairs and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Reporting to the Shift Supervisor regarding daily work progress and work order completion.
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting of reported guest room complaints.
  • Working closely with the Shift Supervisor and peers to carry out preventive and annual maintenance programs.
  • Following all safety rules, departmental procedures, and instructions.
  • Carrying out additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
  • Reading Building Services and electrical drawings.
  • Fault finding and repairing electrical controls and systems.
  • Having an excellent understanding of electrical installations and systems within modern buildings, including TV, Dimmers, BMS, LV controls, etc.
  • Possessing good practical skills for installing and maintaining Switchgear, Conduit, Trunking FP 2000, etc., to a high standard.
  • Being familiar with planned Preventive Maintenance and Safety programs.
  • Being flexible, a team player, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Assisting peers in their tasks when requested by the Shift Supervisor.
  • Attending all departmental meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
  • Secondary School + Technical College or equivalent.
  • Good basic English skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of modern hotel room facilities, equipment, and setups.

Additional Information

Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR Management position, ideally within a 5-star hotel.
