Job summary

Al Marwan Group in the UAE is seeking a General Accountant with 4-6 years of accounting experience in construction, heavy machinery, or real estate sectors. The role covers full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, VAT compliance, and support for audits.

You will manage AP, AR, bank reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting, and ensure adherence to UAE regulations and company policies. Fluency in English and Arabic is required, and experience with ERP systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Min 4 years of accounting experience in UAE (construction, heavy machinery or real estate).
• Fluent in English and Arabic; strong knowledge of VAT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting including journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable ensuring timely payments.
• Conduct bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and expense tracking.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting.
• Support audits with necessary records and ensure regulatory compliance.
