Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, problem-solving, and detail-oriented individual to report to the Accounting Supervisor. The candidate will be responsible for general accounting activities related to ISE ledgers of NOV. This goal-driven and innovative professional will operate in a multicultural environment, collaborating with various internal finance teams to ensure the accounting function exceeds expectations. Responsibilities include applying accounting principles, analyzing financial data, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with NOV and local statutory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures.
- Process and post journal entries accurately with supporting documentation, ensuring records reflect the financial position correctly.
- Prepare supporting schedules for general ledger accounts, analyze, and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.
- Handle consolidation, inter-company transactions, and reconciliations.
- Maintain documentation and controls for Ledger processes, including SOX controls testing.
- Conduct quarterly balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analysis.
- Maintain reporting for corporate accounting, tax, and external authorities as required.
- Assist with statutory and tax audits, ensuring smooth review processes.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring data integrity and control compliance.
- Address accounting issues and undertake ad hoc projects as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process automation.
- Manage and analyze inventory.
- Perform other finance and accounting tasks as assigned.

Educational Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- 2-4 years of experience in General Accounting, IFRS, US GAAP, and SOX reporting within MNCs or Shared Services.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Pivot Tables).
- Knowledge of SAGE ERP.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service.
Desirable:
- Over 4 years of experience.
- Strong internal control and security awareness.
- Experience with Excel Macros or basic programming.
- Knowledge of Alteryx, Data Warehouse, and Basware.
