Job description

As a General Accountant you are responsible to assist maintaining a smooth operation within the Finance Department by reviewing payroll reports and conducting internal controls in compliance with all policies, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations
  • To support when needed finance sections for Income, AR & AP & GC
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Prepare tax returns and ensure timely filing and payment
  • Conduct periodic internal audits and assist with external audits
  • Analyze financial data and provide financial insights to management
  • Maintain and improve accounting policies and procedures

The successful candidate will be hands-on leader with the ability to positively coach and motivate the team to success. Ideally, the candidate would have minimum 3 years experiences in a similar role in a 5 star hotel; able to handle multi-national team; Bachelor s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field. The position required a high organization skill; highly motivated; focus on training and developing staff member; good administration skill.
