General Accountant

As a General Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining and analyzing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with taxes and other regulations. You will also be expected to assist in the budgeting process and provide recommendations to improve our company's financial performance.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, balance sheets, and income statements
2. Reconcile accounts and investigate any discrepancies or variances
3. Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to management for financial planning and decision making
4. Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax regulations
5. Assist with budget preparation and monitor actual performance against budgeted targets
6. Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
7. Develop and maintain relationships with industry and financial partners
8. Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
9. Provide support during audits and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared and available
10. Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline processes

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role
3. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
5. Experience with budgeting and financial analysis
6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
9. Ability to work independently and in a team environment
