Job summary

Careers International in Dubai is seeking a qualified Finance Accountant to maintain accurate records, manage the general ledger, and produce monthly statements in a fast-paced SME/F&B environment.

You will reconcile Shopify and Stripe data, handle VAT with UAE authorities, and support budgets, reports, and audits while ensuring confidentiality and integrity of accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA, CPA, or CA preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE, ideally within an SME or F&B business.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Xero accounting software.
• Strong understanding of VAT, bookkeeping, and financial reporting principles.
• Experience reconciling Shopify and Stripe preferred.
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Fluent English communication (written and spoken) required.
• High integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling company accounts.
• UAE Driving Licence preferred.

• Monitor office spending, purchasing, and stock management.
• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports.
• Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ensure adherence to UAE financial compliance and reporting laws.
