Job summary

DeepLight AI seeks a Backend Engineer to drive AI-powered banking solutions. You will design and deploy scalable microservice-based apps, integrate GenAI, and collaborate with data scientists and IT to align technical builds with business goals.

You should have strong Python/JavaScript/TypeScript skills, hands-on experience with Azure or AWS, containers (Docker), and CI/CD, plus a track record building secure, cloud-native applications for financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 5+ years in professional software development.
• Experience building scalable, secure web apps and cloud-native environments (Azure preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of banking operations, terminologies, and financial services products.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy full-stack AI-powered web apps using microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Integrate GenAI engineering principles including RAG into enterprise platforms.
• Create modular, scalable architectures and reusable templates.
• Design data pipelines, pre-processing workflows, and governance for large datasets.
• Manage Docker-based deployments and CI/CD pipelines for secure releases.
• Act as an analytics translator between business units and IT, coordinating with teams.
• Adhere to organizational policies and service standards for quality delivery.
