A leading law firm in Dubai is seeking a legal professional to manage and review a variety of legal documents, ensuring compliance and supporting the company in new ventures. The ideal candidate will hold a law degree, possess significant experience in financial services, and be fluent in both Arabic and English. This role offers a competitive salary package with additional benefits.
1. General review of legal documents with the company's stakeholders and third parties depending on its length, complexity, and relevant legal jurisdiction.
2. Second or third round of review and negotiation of legal documents with the company's stakeholders and third parties, including meetings (internally and externally) to conclude the legal matter.
3. Specific review at the request of any Business Department to amend a clause of any existing legal document, depending on its length, complexity, and relevant legal jurisdiction.
4. Review of specific inquiries depending on their length, complexity, and relevant legal jurisdiction, including legal due diligence into an entity or person, and providing advice based on other jurisdictions.
5. Reviewing documents, websites, policies, press releases, disclaimers, RFPs, and other materials from a legal perspective.
6. Handling new inquiries (with no previous experience of similar situations or jurisdictions) that require legal research.
1. Drafting and reviewing letters for existing stakeholders, third parties, or clients.
2. Drafting and reviewing letters for prospective partnerships, suppliers, or clients.
3. Keeping and archiving original documents, letters, and signed contracts.
4. Managing attestation, translation, and ancillary services related to legal documents.
1. Defending and/or overseeing the process of defending the company in litigation, arbitration, ADR, and settlement bodies (such as AFCA, JSC, etc.).
1. Supporting submission of documents and responses to legal authorities in collaboration with compliance teams.
2. Obtaining notarized or non-notarized documents from legal entities.
3. Preparing training materials related to legal matters and laws of different jurisdictions and providing training as needed.
1. Supporting new company establishments, including proposal review, contract review, offer review, document gathering, and translation.
2. Supporting vital new projects for the company and related entities.
