Job summary

Montpellier Resourcing is seeking an Investment Associate for an investment firm operating across the GCC. The role focuses on research, due diligence, financial modelling and preparing investment papers for internal committees, with exposure to live deals in a fast-moving regional market.

Based in the GCC (Dubai, Abu Dhabi or wider region) with willingness to relocate, you will monitor portfolio performance, assist with deal execution and liaise with advisers and counterparties.

Qualifications

• Experience in an investment, asset management, private equity or similar analytical role.
• Strong financial modelling and Excel skills.
• A relevant degree; CFA (or progress towards it) is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to be based in, or relocate to, the GCC.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the investment team with research, due diligence and financial modelling.
• Preparing investment papers, memos and presentations for internal committees.
• Monitoring portfolio performance and market developments across the region.
• Assisting with deal execution, including data analysis and documentation.
• Liaising with external advisers, auditors and counterparties as required.
• Contributing to the ongoing development of investment processes and reporting.
