Job summary

SearchPlus HR Consultancy in the UAE seeks an experienced Gastroenterologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Sharjah. The role covers diagnosis and treatment of GI, liver and digestive disorders, with access to advanced endoscopic procedures where applicable.

MBBS/MD or equivalent is required, along with postgraduate gastroenterology qualification and strong endoscopy skills. Tax-free salary, housing, air tickets and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification.
• Postgraduate qualification in Gastroenterology or equivalent.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
• Manage conditions including GERD, peptic ulcer disease, IBD, IBS, GI bleeding, and liver disorders.
• Perform gastroscopy and colonoscopy; advanced endoscopy experience is preferred.
• Evaluate and manage patients with complex GI and liver conditions.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care and follow-up.
• Work with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists and other specialists.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical quality initiatives.
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient safety standards.
