Job summary

SearchPlus HR seeks a highly qualified Gastroenterologist with UK CCT to join a reputable UAE healthcare facility. You will diagnose and manage GI and liver disorders, perform endoscopy, and provide evidence-based care under UAE regulations.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, perform endoscopic procedures, and collaborate across specialties to deliver multidisciplinary care, patient education, and ongoing disease management. A competitive package and visa support are offered.

Qualifications

• UK CCT in Gastroenterology or equivalent recognised pathway.
• MBBS or equivalent medical degree with full licensing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations and diagnostic evaluations for GI and hepatobiliary disorders.
• Diagnose and manage GERD, peptic ulcers, IBD, IBS, and GI bleeding.
• Assess and manage liver diseases including viral hepatitis, fatty liver and cirrhosis.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (gastroscopy, colonoscopy) within training scope.
• Perform endoscopic interventions (polypectomy, haemostasis, biopsies) where credentialed.
• Interpret labs, endoscopy findings, histopathology, and imaging.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor response and progression.
• Provide screening and surveillance for GI malignancies and coordinate care.
• Collaborate with hepatologists, surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and dietitians.
• Educate patients on prevention, medications, and long-term management.
• Relocate to UAE and obtain DHA/DOH/MOHAP and licensing where required.
