SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly qualified gastroenterologist with a UK Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) to join a reputable healthcare facility in the UAE. The role involves diagnosing and managing GI and liver disorders, performing endoscopic procedures within scope, and delivering evidence-based medical care in line with UAE regulations.

The candidate should hold MBBS or equivalent, UK CCT in gastroenterology, and be eligible for DHA/DOH/MOHAP classification.

Qualificações

• MBBS or equivalent required.
• UK CCT in gastroenterology or equivalent recognized training pathway.
• UAE licensing requirements and good standing with GMC where applicable.
• Endoscopy competency appropriate to the role.
• Eligibility for DHA/DOH/MOHAP specialist/consultant classification.
• GMC registration and Good Standing where applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive consultations and diagnostic evaluations for GI and hepatobiliary disorders.
• Diagnose and manage GERD, PUD, IBD, IBS, GI bleeding.
• Manage liver diseases including hepatitis, fatty liver, cirrhosis and complications.
• Perform diagnostic/therapeutic endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy).
• Perform endoscopic interventions (polypectomy, haemostasis, biopsy).
• Evaluate abdominal pain, dysphagia, chronic diarrhoea, constipation, GI bleeding, weight loss.
• Interpret labs, endoscopy, histopathology and imaging.
• Develop treatment plans and monitor response.
• Provide screening and surveillance for GI malignancies including colorectal cancer.
• Coordinate urgent GI cases and hospital admissions when needed.
• Collaborate with hepatologists, surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, dietitians.
• Educate patients on prevention, diet, medication adherence and long-term management.
