Gas Treatment Product Lead & Proposal Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

Role: Full time - Gas Treatment product Lead & Proposal Manager
Reporting to: Business Head
Product Line: Gas Treatment Process Skid Packages (Gas Dehydration Units, Amine Sweetening Units, Condensate Stabilization, Dew Point Control, Mercury Removal, CO2/H2S Removal units)

Proposal Manager is responsible for preparing:

1. Process Design
2. Techno-Commercial Bid Document Preparation
3. Cost Estimation
4. Technical Clarifications
5. Floating Vendor RFQs & Review
6. PFD, P&ID, 3D Model, Hazop Review
7. Process calculations
8. Aspen HYSYS
9. PSV sizing/Line sizing/BDV sizing
10. Technical Bid Evaluation
11. Vendor Documents Review

Location: India/UAE

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Manage the proposal process from opportunity to award
2. Ensure adequate evaluation of requests for quotation requirements and Project specifications
3. Conduct Process design, selection, and Sizing of Process equipments, Pumps, Valves
4. Develop discipline deliverables, including Process Flow Diagrams, Heat and Mass Balances, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams, SAFE and Cause and Effect Charts, equipment and instrument Data Sheets, relief valve and hydraulic calculations
5. Utilize your expertise to contribute to the design and optimization of process systems in the oil and gas industry
6. Ensure scope definition, technical/commercial accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of proposal submission
7. Provide customer support to the sales team via bid clarification meetings, pre-bid technical meetings, etc.
8. Knowledge of Piping and structural E&I Discipline is an advantage
9. Knowledge of Rotating & Static Equipment Packages
10. Preparation of data sheets, specifications, purchasing documents, technical evaluation for Mechanical equipment and Bulk items
11. Familiarity with KOC, ADNOC, SAUDI ARAMCO, PDO, Qatar Energy Shell DEP's, and International codes is an advantage
12. Liaison/coordination with both internal resources (other departments, sales, etc.) as well as external (i.e., clients, sub-vendors, etc.) to develop relationships and encourage a 'team' culture
13. Assist in the development and maintenance of quoting tools and procedures in order to improve the process and increase accuracy and success of proposals

Skills and Experience:

1. Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry with a strong background in process design preferably with OEM's and EPC
2. Proficiency in process simulation software HYSYS & UNISIM and relevant engineering tools
3. Familiarity with international codes, standards & best practices in process engineering
4. Experience in Gas Processing, Gas Treatment will be highly regarded
5. Chemical / Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualifications and experience
6. Position may require international travel
7. Manufacturing Knowledge/experience is an asset
8. Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
9. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines
10. Proficient with MS Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
11. Ability to achieve excellent performance in individual and team environments
12. Ability to work remotely effectively and with limited supervision as needed
13. Demonstrated ability for on-time performance in a fast-paced work environment
