Job summary
Terracotta Outsourcing is seeking an experienced Asset Manager for a major gas-fired power generation project in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on commercial, financial, operational and governance oversight from owner/shareholder perspective as the asset transitions from construction into operations.
You will work with project delivery, legal, HSE and finance teams, manage contracts (PPA/PWPA), review financial models and monthly performance reports, and coordinate with external stakeholders to
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
- 8+ years in utilities or power generation.
- Experience with IPP/IWPP structures and project contracts.
- Strong commercial and contract management capabilities.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Available to join within one month.
Responsibilities
- Act as owner/shareholder representative for the asset.
- Monitor commercial, financial, operational, HSE and project performance.
- Prepare monthly asset performance reports for senior management.
- Review progress against budgets, milestones, and KPIs.
- Maintain understanding of PPA/PWPA and major project contracts.
- Review financial models and link assumptions to cash flow and budgets.
- Support the transition from construction to operations.
- Coordinate with internal functions and external stakeholders.
- Provide reporting and recommendations to support decision-making.
