Job summary

Emarat - Emirates Petroleum Company P.J.S.C in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to manage start-up, shutdown and routine operation at the main compressor station on shift. You will perform patrols, issue maintenance permits, and ensure safe execution of tasks with strict adherence to procedures.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering and at least 4 years in Natural Gas Control Room operations, with emphasis on safety, clear communication, and IT

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Control Room in Natural Gas Operations
• Diploma (3 Years) in Engineering
• A minimum of 4 years experience within Natural Gas Control Room operations.
• Excellent communication and IT literacy

Responsibilities

• Carries out regular patrols of the compressor station to observe operation of equipment and report abnormalities.
• Carries out electrical and mechanical isolation of equipment in preparation of permit to work.
• Carries out Gas tests for hot work and vessel entry and signs work requests for approval prior to commencement of work.
• Takes immediate corrective action in the event of an emergency and notifies senior despatcher immediately by radio of any urgent situation
