Job summary

ARK People Solutions in Dubai is seeking an experienced Garment Merchandiser & Coordinator to manage garment orders and provide strong administrative support. You will be the main contact between clients, suppliers, factories, and internal teams to ensure clear communication from enquiry through sampling to production and delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous garment merchandising experience within the uniform, apparel, or fashion industry.
• Practical knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction, sampling, production, and quality requirements.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Confidence communicating with clients, suppliers, factories, and colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage several orders and deadlines.
• A proactive working style—you follow through without needing constant reminders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating client enquiries, quotations, samples, approvals, orders, and deliveries.
• Liaising with clients, fabric and trim suppliers, factories, and internal teams.
• Following up on fabric, trims, sizing, samples, production, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Maintaining order trackers, critical paths, production schedules, and client records.
• Preparing quotations, purchase orders, reports, presentations, and other documents.
• Keeping all stakeholders updated and ensuring pending actions are followed up.
• Identifying potential delays or issues and escalating them early.
• Supporting general administration and maintaining organised digital files.
