Job summary

Dubai Future Foundation is seeking an Accountant within the Agility Department to maintain accurate financial records and support finance operations across AR, AP, payroll, fixed assets, and budgeting processes. The role collaborates with procurement and audit teams to ensure compliance and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of accounting experience, a Finance/Accounting degree, and strong English skills with Arabic fluency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in accounting or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. CPA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions accurately, consistently, and in a timely manner.
• Support the accounts receivable process by logging contracts, issuing invoices, following up on payments, and preparing monthly reconciliation reports.
• Support the accounts payable process by registering contracts and suppliers, reviewing documentation, and ensuring payments by due dates.
• Prepare and validate monthly payroll files for payment release.
• Record fixed assets and reconcile the fixed asset register monthly.
• Collaborate with Procurement to ensure contracts and documentation are complete.
• Support external audits with schedules and queries, ensuring documentation is available.
• Assist digitization and automation of accounting processes to improve efficiency.
