Job description

• · Interpret design blueprints, sketches, and specifications to create unique and functional furniture pieces that meet the company's standards and design aesthetics.
• · Select appropriate materials, tools, and techniques for each furniture project, considering factors such as durability, cost-effectiveness, and design requirements.
• · Collaborate closely with the design and production teams to ensure seamless execution of furniture designs, making necessary adjustments as needed.
• · Cut, shape, assemble, and finish various wood and wood-based materials to create furniture components and complete pieces.
• · Operate and maintain woodworking machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
• · Apply finishing techniques such as staining, painting, varnishing, and lacquering to enhance the visual appeal and durability of furniture items.
• · Ensure precision and accuracy in measurements and joinery techniques to produce structurally sound and visually appealing furniture pieces.
• · Implement quality control measures to identify and rectify any defects or imperfections in the final products before they reach the sales floor.
• · Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and materials to continuously improve craftsmanship and contribute innovative ideas to the design process.
• · Participate in team meetings, workshops, and training sessions to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
