Job summary

Your Role in Our Mission

You will lead the design and delivery of NEXT Ventures’ global payment infrastructure across FundedNext, FNmarkets, and FNPay. You will own the end‑to‑end payment journey, from checkout to settlement, while driving payout systems, wallet and card products, and crypto payment solutions that enable seamless trader experiences. By guiding multiple engineering squads and embedding AI‑native workflows, you will accelerate delivery, reduce friction, and ensure compliance across all payment flows. Your leadership will transform payments into a growth engine, positioning NEXT Ventures as a trusted innovator in fintech and trading worldwide.

How You’ll Make An Impact

PSP Integration & Payment Optimization

• Own the full payment journey across FundedNext, FNmarkets, and FNPay, ensuring seamless checkout, fund receipt, and settlement.
• Manage multi‑PSP integrations (Payprocc, Confirmo, BinancePay, PayPal) with redundancy and intelligent routing for cost, speed, and success rate.
• Drive conversion optimization through tokenization, streamlined checkout flows, and reduced activation delays.

Payout & Settlement

• Lead integrations for card, bank, and crypto payouts, enabling seamless trader reinvestment across platforms.
• Build settlement and reconciliation engines with automated discrepancy detection and complete audit trails.
• Integrate Oracle NetSuite ERP for financial reconciliation, revenue recognition, and operational accounting.

Wallet & Card Product

• Deliver FNPay wallet features including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and real‑time transaction tracking.
• Architect card issuance systems with lifecycle management and 99%+ transaction success rates.
• Drive adoption metrics (signups, withdrawals, card issuance) supported by robust ledger and compliance systems.

Web3 & Crypto Payments

• Own crypto payment infrastructure, integrating blockchain networks and managing secure wallet systems.
• Evaluate Web3 payment technologies to improve speed, reduce costs, and expand corridors.
• Ensure compliance with evolving crypto regulations across jurisdictions.

Leadership & Business Outcomes

• Lead multiple engineering squads, setting technical direction, mentoring, and ensuring delivery consistency.
• Own the payment domain roadmap, prioritizing projects by revenue impact, efficiency, and strategic value.
• Deliver measurable outcomes: reduced support tickets, resilient payment diversity, payout automation, and FNPay product‑market fit.

Qualifications & Expertise

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related field; 7+ years in software engineering with 3+ in payment/fintech leadership.
• Expertise in PHP/Laravel, Node.js, Next.js, PSP integrations, payout systems, reconciliation engines, and ERP integration.
• Strong knowledge of Web3, wallet/card issuance, database architecture, and stakeholder management; fintech/trading experience preferred.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, with 7+ years in software engineering and at least 3 years in technical leadership for payment/fintech infrastructure.
• Expert in PHP/Laravel for high‑reliability backend services, plus strong proficiency in Node.js (event‑driven processing) and Next.js (dashboards and checkout flows).
• Proven experience with PSP integrations (3–4 providers across card, bank, crypto) and payout systems (card, bank, crypto), including PCI‑DSS compliance and automation improvements.
• Skilled in settlement/reconciliation systems and ERP integration (Oracle NetSuite or similar), with strong database architecture for financial ledgers and high‑throughput event logging.
• Working knowledge of Web3/crypto payments and wallet/card issuance products, ensuring compliance, scalability, and adoption metrics.
• Mandatory AI‑Native Engineering: daily use of agentic AI workflows (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, etc.) for coding, review, and task delegation, achieving 5–10x productivity.
