Full-Stack Developer – Conversational AI Admin Dashboard (Dubai, on-site)

About the role

This is an onsite position in the UAE.

We are looking for a hands‑on Full-Stack Developer to build and evolve an admin dashboard used to configure, manage, and monitor conversational AI agents. The role has a strong frontend emphasis, paired with solid ownership of the application services and data workflows behind the dashboard.

You will work with React and TypeScript on the frontend and develop backend services using either Node.js with TypeScript or Python. This is a product‑engineering role focused on reliable web software, not AI model development.

The initial engagement is expected to run through December 2026, with the possibility of extension.

What you will do

Admin dashboard and frontend

• Build and continuously improve a responsive React and TypeScript admin dashboard to configure, manage, and monitor conversational AI agents.
• Create clear interfaces for agent settings, user and role administration, operational status, conversation review, issue investigation, and key service metrics.
• Develop reusable UI components, forms, tables, filters, search, charts, notifications, and other patterns required by a configuration‑heavy operational product.
• Manage client‑side state, data fetching, caching, validation, loading states, and error handling so complex workflows remain predictable and easy to use.

Backend and application services

• Design and implement backend services and APIs using Node.js with TypeScript or Python to support dashboard workflows, configuration management, reporting, and platform connectivity.
• Translate product requirements into maintainable business logic, validation rules, persistence models, migrations, and background processes.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, role‑based access control, session handling, and audit logging.
• Support asynchronous jobs and real‑time or near‑real‑time status updates where they materially improve the management experience.
• Connect the dashboard to existing internal and external APIs with clear contracts, resilient error handling, and useful operational diagnostics.

Data and reporting

• Model and persist application data using relational or document databases, with appropriate indexing, migrations, and data‑quality controls.
• Build reliable search, filtering, sorting, pagination, and reporting workflows for growing operational datasets.
• Improve query performance and data presentation so dashboards remain responsive and useful as usage grows.

Delivery and collaboration

• Work closely with product, engineering, conversational AI, operations, design, and quality‑assurance colleagues to clarify priorities and deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Write maintainable, well‑structured code and contribute to practical technical decisions across the frontend, backend, and data layers.
• Create automated tests and participate in code reviews, release preparation, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Improve build, deployment, logging, monitoring, and developer workflows so the team can release safely and frequently.
• Document core architecture, APIs, operational procedures, and key technical decisions.

Required skills and experience

• Strong professional experience delivering production full‑stack web applications and owning features from interface development through backend implementation and release.
• Strong React and TypeScript skills, including component architecture, state management, data fetching, and reusable UI patterns.
• Backend development experience with either Node.js and TypeScript or Python and a modern web framework.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs, working with structured payloads, and integrating third‑party or enterprise systems.
• Experience with relational or document databases, data modeling, migrations, indexing, and performance‑conscious queries.
• Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, role‑based access control, secure coding, session handling, and audit logging.
• Hands‑on experience with unit, component, integration, and end‑to‑end testing for web applications.
• Working knowledge of source control, code review, CI/CD, containers, environment configuration, logging, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
• Ability to work effectively with incomplete requirements, make pragmatic technical decisions, and deliver iteratively against urgent priorities.
• Clear English communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with product, engineering, and operational stakeholders.

Will be a plus

• Experience building admin portals, SaaS management consoles, internal operational tools, analytics dashboards, or configuration‑heavy enterprise applications.
• Experience developing management interfaces for conversational AI products; AI model‑development experience is not required.
• Experience implementing real‑time interfaces, streaming updates, background‑job tracking, or event‑driven user experiences.
• Experience with design systems, accessibility standards, frontend performance optimization, and large data tables or visualizations.
• Experience with enterprise identity, single sign‑on, fine‑grained permissions, or regulated operational environments.

What success looks like

• Operational teams can manage agent settings, users, permissions, conversations, and service status from one clear, dependable dashboard.
• The interface makes important status changes and operational issues easy to identify and investigate.
• Frontend and backend components remain maintainable, testable, observable, and straightforward to extend as the product evolves.
• Features move from evolving requirements to production through small, safe, well‑documented releases.

Work model and relocation

The role is full‑time and onsite in Dubai, UAE. The selected candidate will be employed through the designated UAE company. Planned support includes the UAE employment visa, employee medical insurance, an initial flight to Dubai, a return flight at the end of the assignment, an approved broker fee, apartment‑search assistance and local arrival support (subject to the final written offer).
