Job summary

CBOX Containers in Dubai, UAE is seeking a Senior Full Stack & AI Developer to join on-site. You will own and improve critical applications, work with PHP, React, Next.js and AI-powered automation, and collaborate directly with the CTO and a small tech team to deliver the next generation of our digital platform.

You will focus on international websites, internal business apps, APIs and integrations, with AWS infrastructure and strong emphasis on security, testing and data quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full stack experience required.
• Experience with Laravel and modern JS stack preferred.
• Experience with AI/ML APIs and automation is a plus.

We’re looking for a developer who wants to do more than pick up tickets. You’ll work closely with our CTO and a small technology team to improve the applications our teams use every day and build the next generation of our digital platform.

You’ll have real ownership, direct contact with the people using your work and the opportunity to grow as our technology team grows.

What you’ll work on

• International websites, ecommerce and customer portals
• Internal applications for sales, operations, inventory and finance
• React and Next.js applications
• Existing PHP systems and new services
• APIs, webhooks and integrations with ERP, CRM, Microsoft and payment systems
• AWS infrastructure, deployment and monitoring
• Workflow automation and AI features that solve real business problems

Some of our systems are modern. Others need improvement. You’ll help us decide what to keep, what to change and what to build next.

AI is part of the job

We want to use AI to make our software and workflows smarter. That could mean processing documents, helping people find information or building agents that can complete clearly defined tasks.

You should be comfortable working with language model APIs, tool calling and automation platforms. You also know that useful AI needs good data, testing, security, permissions and human approval where it matters.

We encourage the use of tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, n8n and Make. What matters most is what you can build with them.

What you bring

You have ideally spent four or more years building full stack applications and have strong experience with:

• PHP and a modern framework such as Laravel
• React, Next.js, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Node.js, REST APIs and system integrations
• MySQL or PostgreSQL and sound database design
• Git, AWS, Docker and CI/CD
• Authentication, role-based access, application security and testing
• Debugging production issues using logs, monitoring and data

Experience with LLM APIs, RAG, vector search or AI agents is a strong advantage. So is experience with ERP systems or complex business workflows.

You don’t need to tick every box. We care about how you solve problems, how quickly you learn and the quality of what you deliver.
