Job Summary

Zurich Workplace Solutions (ZWS), part of Zurich International, is based in the DIFC’s International Financial Centre. We provide localized workplace savings solutions that offer flexibility and control, contributing positively to long-term financial security.

ZWS manages the DIFC Employee Workplace Savings plan (DEWS), a progressive end-of-service benefit plan introduced in 2020.

To support our expansion, we’re seeking a dynamic and passionate Full Stack Developer to join our IT department. Reporting to the Senior Manager – Business Transformation, you will support both front-end and back-end development, understanding existing software and APIs, and designing new solutions for Zurich customers.

Job Accountabilities

• Connect to databases using EF Core
• Manage database schemas with EF Core migrations
• Develop software following a test-driven approach
• Address issues identified by security scanning tools (SonarQube, API Right)
• Test Web APIs via Postman
• Manage APIs via Mulesoft or similar tools
• Implement user authentication/authorization via OAuth flows
• Design, code, and maintain mobile/web application user experiences end-to-end
• Optimize code for performance, stability, and maintainability
• Collaborate with cloud engineers, UI developers, QA, and DevOps teams
• Leverage native APIs for deep platform integrations
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance issues
• Engage with the open-source community for critical software fixes
• Measure product success with key metrics
• Deploy React Native applications to Apple App Store and Google Play Store

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology with 5+ years of experience in client-side or mobile application development
• Knowledge of insurance, corporate savings, pensions, or end-of-service benefits is strongly preferred
• Experience working in international and diverse cultural organizations is beneficial
