Business Need / Purpose of Role

The Customer Enquiry Executive, reporting to the Operations Manager based out of Fujairah, UAE, will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, engaging in vendor inquiries and registrations as per company policies, and achieving excellent customer satisfaction.

Objectives & Key Responsibilities

• Manage incoming phone calls and inquiries, ensuring they are attended to within the set turnaround time.
• Prepare and provide accurate, valid, and complete information about ME ports, including quoted PDAs when required.
• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the specified time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication.
• Identify and assess customers’ needs to ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and operate within deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Education, Qualifications, Certifications, and Licenses

• Experience of several years in a similar role with excellent knowledge of the Middle East port operations.
• Good understanding of customer requirements and port agency operations from inquiry to FDA presentation.
• Knowledge of local Middle East ports.
• Experience working with predefined processes and delivering work according to SLAs.
• Financial understanding and application.
• A relevant degree is preferred.
