Job summary

Fatherson International FZE is seeking an experienced HVAC Draftsman with strong AutoCAD skills to produce accurate shop drawings and coordination drawings for high-rise, villa, commercial, and residential projects in the UAE.

You will develop duct layouts, piping drawings, AHU/FCU layouts, and ventilation system diagrams while coordinating with other MEP disciplines and adhering to consultant requirements and UAE authority standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as HVAC draftsman in the UAE or GCC.
• High-rise buildings and villa projects experience is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, chilled water piping, and ventilation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC design drawings and technical specs.
• Experience preparing MEP shop drawings and coordination drawings.
• Knowledge of UAE authority requirements and relevant HVAC standards.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare HVAC shop drawings, installation drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare HVAC duct layout drawings: supply, return, fresh air, exhaust air.
• Develop chilled water piping layouts and refrigerant piping drawings.
• Prepare equipment layouts for AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs, chillers, and ventilation fans.

The candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and capable of preparing accurate HVAC shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings in accordance with project specifications, consultant requirements, and UAE authority standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare HVAC shop drawings, installation drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.

Prepare HVAC duct layout drawings, including supply, return, fresh air, and exhaust air systems.

Develop chilled water piping layouts and refrigerant piping drawings.

Prepare HVAC equipment layouts for AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs, chillers, and ventilation fans.

Prepare ventilation, smoke extraction, and stairwell pressurization system layouts.

Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an HVAC Draftsman in the UAE or GCC.

Mandatory experience in high-rise buildings and villa projects.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.

Good knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, chilled water piping, and ventilation systems.

Ability to read and interpret HVAC design drawings and technical specifications.

Experience preparing MEP shop drawings and coordination drawings.

Knowledge of UAE authority requirements and relevant HVAC standards.

Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Diploma or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience working with MEP contracting companies.

Knowledge of Revit MEP is an added advantage.
