Job Title: Front Office Supervisor

A Front Office Supervisor assists in managing daily Front Office operations and works with customers and Guests as part of a project to demonstrate capabilities required in the hotel management sector.

What will I be doing?

As a Front Office Supervisor, your responsibilities include:

  • Supervising the efficient operations of reception, including check-in/out procedures
  • Supporting team members in handling guest requests and inquiries to ensure positive outcomes
  • Keeping the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors informed of relevant guest feedback and departmental updates
  • Demonstrating high levels of customer service at all times
  • Advising the team of any special events or VIP Guests
  • Understanding hotel room categories, rates, packages, and promotions
  • Monitoring the appearance, standards, and performance of the Front Office Team, emphasizing training and teamwork
  • Maximizing room occupancy and promoting hotel services using up-selling techniques
  • Ensuring team members are knowledgeable about all hotel offerings and local area information
  • Exercising positive leadership to motivate team members to exceed standards
  • Following fire, health, safety regulations and proper procedures
  • Adhering to policies when working with front-of-house equipment and property management systems
  • Following company brand standards
  • Assisting other departments as needed and maintaining good relationships with team members
What are we looking for?
