Job Summary:

To be responsible for delivering services to guests within Front Office areas in a friendly and courteous manner. Performs efficiently, courteously, and professionally, always maintaining a high standard of service and hospitality. Provides guest services, manages daily reservations, and handles check-in and check-out processes.

As a Front Office Agent, your responsibilities include:

  • Having knowledge of operational systems at the Front Office
  • Understanding Shangri-La's standard operating policies and procedures
  • Being well-versed with daily arrivals, guest types (e.g., return guests, Shangri-La Circle members, VIPs)
  • Ensuring all amenities are in the room prior to guest arrival
  • Assisting in resolving guest problems and concerns, always aiming to exceed guest expectations
  • Responding to inquiries regarding hotel facilities and room features
  • Providing courteous service and promptly responding to guest requests and complaints
  • Processing guest registrations efficiently
  • Staying updated on room rates and package discounts in coordination with other departments

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a hotel
  • Ability to work long hours and shifts
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written) and Arabic
  • Pleasant, friendly, and cheerful attitude
