We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Front Office Agent to join the Traders Hotel family. The selected candidate shall be the face of the hotel, welcoming guests with a pleasing personality, assisting them, and ensuring their experience is cared for.

What are we looking for?

  • A warm and friendly personality with a smiling and positive demeanor.
  • A can-do attitude, self-motivated, and well-organized.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Customer-oriented with good communication skills; outgoing personality is an advantage.
  • Excellent command of spoken English; knowledge of other languages such as Arabic, Chinese, Russian, and German is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in luxury hospitality/customer service.
  • Higher Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.

What will you do?

  • Ensure all interactions with guests are handled professionally.

  • Perform cashiering functions efficiently.
  • Collaborate with hotel colleagues to maintain excellent service standards.
  • Assist other colleagues/departments thoughtfully when needed.
  • Assist with guest luggage.
  • Bid farewell to departing guests, leaving them with a Shangri-La experience.
  • Listen empathetically to guest queries/complaints and work with colleagues/management to find solutions.
