Job description

Our client is searching for a highly motivated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join their dynamic team in Abu Dhabi.

About the role:

As the first point of contact for our visitors, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. You'll be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and supporting our team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome visitors: Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage reception area: Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
  • Answer phones: Answer incoming calls in a courteous and efficient manner, directing calls to the appropriate team member.
  • Schedule appointments: Schedule meetings and appointments using our online calendar system.
  • Prepare documents: Assist with photocopying, scanning, faxing, and basic document preparation.
  • Manage mail and deliveries: Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages to the appropriate personnel.
  • Travel arrangements: Assist with travel arrangements for staff if required (booking flights, hotels, etc.).
  • Maintain office supplies: Order and maintain a stock of necessary office supplies.
  • Perform other administrative tasks: As assigned, perform additional administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the office.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A professional and courteous demeanor, with a positive and can-do attitude.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is a strong asset.
