The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations. This role requires strong communication skills in Arabic and English to assist a diverse range of guests efficiently. The ideal candidate will handle inquiries, resolve guest concerns, and ensure a seamless front desk experience. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, handling payments and room assignments.
- Provide accurate information about hotel services, promotions, and local attractions.
- Respond to guest inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest requests.
- Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
- Assist in handling reservations, cancellations, and modifications as per guest requests.
- Process payments, verify credit card transactions, and maintain accurate billing records.
- Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure security and guest confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality front desk role is preferred.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations professionally.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is an advantage.
