THE HYDE DUBAI
Hyde Hotels, Resorts & Residences, part of the world-leading Accor group, is the first Hyde hotel outside of the United States, Hyde Dubai Business Bay, located near the iconic Burj Khalifa and directly fronting the Business Bay canal and promenade.
The hotel features 276 rooms, all with balconies, including gracious standard rooms and luxurious suites with views of the Dubai Canal, Dubai skyline, and Burj Khalifa. It offers three culinary experiences: Cleo Mediterraneo (Mediterranean), Katsuya (contemporary Japanese), and Hudson Tavern (hand-crafted burgers). Additional amenities include The Perq coffee concept, a lobby lounge, Hyde pool & lounge, spa, male/female salons, fitness center, swimming pool, and retail area. The public areas, guestrooms, and Cleo are designed by Ciarmoli Queda Studio, while Katsuya, Hyde pool, and lounge are designed by Tristan Plessis Studio.
Job Description
- Register and room all guest arrivals according to established procedures.
- Perform check-in, check-out, and room change procedures; ensure all data are accurately entered into the hotel system.
- Maintain cashier float and ensure accurate daily reports of all money received.
- Cash hotel guests' personal and travelers checks; assist with currency exchange.
- Keep abreast of all modifications to accounting policies and procedures.
- Attend to guests' requests for using the safety deposit box at all times.
- Be knowledgeable of all special promotion procedures, including Seasonal Packages, Frequent Flyers Programs, and Hotel Group Loyalty programs.
- Attend to guests' complaints, inquiries, and requests; refer problems to supervisor/Assistant Manager if unable to assist.
- Be familiar with other Hyde properties to facilitate onward bookings for guests indicating next destination on registration cards.
- Ensure guests depart with a positive impression of the hotel service.
- Perform audit balances and prepare all reports for audit in an orderly fashion.
- During night shifts, check night report, prepare morning report, and prepare all necessary forms for guest arrivals.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of standard reservation procedures.
- Maintain exemplary standards of behavior, appearance, and attitude in the department.
- Keep the front desk work area clean and orderly at all times.
- Be fully aware of the Credit policy.
- Adhere to OH&S policies and procedures.
- Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
