Job summary

Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair in Dubai are seeking a Front Office guest services professional to warmly welcome guests, handle check‑in/out, and provide accurate information. You will stay informed on daily hotel offerings and act as the frontline ambassador for Accor brands.

The role requires excellent English and a calm, courteous demeanor, with additional languages seen as a plus. A 5‑star hotel background and Opera system experience are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in a 5‑star hotel is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm welcome to guests, register and process check-in for all arrivals and update guest information in the system.
• Assist Guests with general enquiries, providing accurate and detailed information.
• Provide prompt, attentive and friendly service at all times (in line with LQA standards) and review guest feedback.
• Stay abreast of all product knowledge, services, facilities, and promotions.
• Maintain personal presentation per Swissôtel grooming standards.
• Project a favourable image of the hotel with a professional attitude and presentation.
• Follow hotel policies, safety rules and regulations.
• Deliver 5‑star heartfelt service and maintain positive relationships with guests and colleagues.

The hotel is located in Deira in the heart of Dubai and within easy reach of major tourist landmarks, leisure destinations and city services. What you will be doing:

• Provide a warm welcome to the guests, register and process check in for all arrivals and update the guest information in the system.
• Assist Guest with general enquiries, providing accurate and detailed information.
• Provide prompt, attentive and friendly service at all times (in line with LQA standards), constantly reviewing guest feedback (direct, online reviews or surveys), performance and operations.
• Keeps abreast of all product knowledge, ranging from daily functions, services and facilities available, and marketing and promotional activities.
• Maintain personal presentation and hygiene as per the grooming standards issued by Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts.
• Projects a favourable image of the hotel, through a positive and professional attitude, manner, and presentation.
• Is aware of and abides by all hotel policies, procedures & relevant legislations.
• To follow the Hotel set Safety standards, and adhere to all rules and regulations as set out by the Occupational Health and Safety Act and to take reasonable care at work so as not to put self or others at unnecessary risk.
• Always remain professional in attitude, manner and presentation providing guest with a 5* star heartfelt service.
• Maintains a positive relationship with guests and colleagues by meeting and exceeding their expectations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role in a 5 star hotel setting is an asset
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, additional languages are a plus (Arabic, Chinese, Russian)
• Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
• Ability to promote positive relations with all hotel guests & colleagues
