Job Description

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests visiting a hotel, office building, or any other establishment. Your responsibilities will include greeting visitors, answering phone calls, making reservations, directing guests to appropriate personnel or areas, and providing information about the organization. A friendly and professional demeanor is essential in this role, as you will be representing the company to all who enter the premises. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling check-ins and check-outs, processing payments, and resolving any guest inquiries or issues in a timely manner. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively are key attributes for success in this position. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere at the front desk.
  • Check-in guests, process payments, and issue room keys.
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate department.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, including providing information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Keep the front desk area clean and organized.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
  • Utilize computer systems to update guest information, check availability, and process reservations.
  • Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of guests and the property.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
