Job description

Job Purpose:

This position is designed to provide recent National graduates with a bachelor's degree in science a structured training opportunity within the university environment. The role supports academic, research, or laboratory operations and offers hands-on exposure, mentorship, and professional development to prepare graduates for future roles in academia, research, or administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist faculty and research staff in laboratory operations, scientific research projects, and academic support tasks
• Support the preparation of teaching and lab materials for science-related courses
• Participate in scientific data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Assist in organizing academic events, seminars, and student workshops
• Coordinate with different university departments to learn and contribute to cross-functional tasks
• Perform administrative duties and documentation as required by the department
• Attend and complete training programs assigned during the development period
• Work on special projects assigned by supervisors to build professional competencies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics, etc.) from University in Abu Dhabi ONLY
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience
• Strong interest in working in academic, research, or higher education environments
• Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and scientific methodology
• Good communication skills in English and Arabic
• Eagerness to learn and grow professionally
