Job summary

AL Marwan General Contracting Company in the UAE seeks a Civil Engineer – Arabic Speaker to join the Roads & Infrastructure team. Fresh graduates are invited to apply, with a focus on roadworks, utilities, and site engineering.

You will support site engineers, review drawings, coordinate with teams, and gain hands-on exposure to infrastructure projects across the GCC region, developing practical skills on live sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• 0–2 years of experience in Roads & Infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
• Arabic-speaking with good English communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD will be an advantage.
• Willingness to work at project sites and develop practical site-engineering skills.
• Strong interest in Roads & Infrastructure sector.

Responsibilities

• Support site engineers in the execution of road and infrastructure works.
• Assist with site inspections, measurements, and monitoring of construction activities.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Assist in reviewing drawings, method statements, specifications, and technical documents.
• Maintain site records, daily reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
• Support quality and HSE requirements at project sites.
• Monitor work progress against approved drawings and project requirements.
• Gain hands-on exposure to roadworks, utilities, drainage, earthworks, and infrastructure activities.
