Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced French Teacher to deliver high-quality learning in line with the British Curriculum (Key Stages 2-3, including IGCSE Level). The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a love for language and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the French department in curriculum planning, teaching, and assessment.
2. Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 2-3, including IGCSE.
3. Support and mentor French teachers to ensure high-quality instruction.
4. Promote interest in the French language through creative teaching and extracurricular activities.
5. Monitor student progress and implement strategies for improvement.
6. Collaborate with school leadership on language policy and development.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in French, Modern Languages, or a related field.
2. PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification.
3. Minimum 3 years of experience teaching French within the British curriculum.
4. Proven coordination experience preferred.
5. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
