Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced site supervision lead for the Freight Facilities Project in Ruwais, UAE. The role focuses on overseeing the inspection teams, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring works align with drawings, specs, and HSE standards.

You will review daily reports, prepare diaries, and support the Resident Engineer with submittals, progress, and project documentation. Strong English and Middle East familiarity preferred; contract-based assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years experience in rail/metro or major infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven site supervision and management of inspection teams.
• Experience with utilities and civil works construction.
• Knowledge of construction specifications, standards and QC procedures.
• Experience with authority coordination and compliance.
• Proficiency in reviewing submittals, shop drawings and as-built docs.
• Excellent written and verbal English; strong HSE competency.

Responsibilities

• Manage the site supervision team and provide technical guidance on-site.
• Review inspector reports, shop drawings, and testing requests for conformance.
• Coordinate with Contractor supervision, schedule and work sequence.
• Prepare meeting minutes, daily diaries, and technical correspondence.
• Monitor progress against baseline program and verify setting-out accuracy.
• Identify non-conformances and drive corrective actions with Resident Engineer.
• Review authority coordination drawings and assist in approvals and handovers.
• Maintain records of communications, approvals, and project documentation.
