Uae Job Alert is seeking a Freight Specialist in Dubai to manage customs clearance, import/export shipments, freight coordination, and shipping documentation. The role collaborates with purchase teams, shippers, and authorities to ensure timely and compliant shipments.

The successful candidate will review shipping requests, coordinate planning, monitor freight, and support insurance claims as required. A Bachelor’s degree in related field and 2–4 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant freight/logistics experience.
• Knowledge of customs clearance and import/export processes.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation, rates, and freight forwarders.

Responsibilities

• Review and process shipping requests and ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with shippers and forwarders to plan shipments.
• Monitor freight movements and track lead times.
• Ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with insurance claims when needed.
