Freelance Graphic Designer and Machine Operator

Role

This is a freelance on-site role for a Graphic Designer and Machine Operator at Vertex Trading, located in Dubai CommerCity. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing graphics, logos, and branding using appropriate software, as well as operating and maintaining printing machines to produce high-quality prints.

Responsibilities

• Design graphics and mockups for pad printing, laser engraving, screen printing, UV printing, round printing, automatic textile machines, heat transfer, sublimation, etc.
• Operate and maintain various machines and printers, troubleshooting technical issues as necessary
• Manage color calibration and ensure accurate color reproduction
• Maintain and calibrate machines for consistent quality output
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure artwork and specifications meet production requirements
• Label completed products before transporting them to clients
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on printing machines to ensure optimal performance

Qualifications

• Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
• Ability to operate and maintain printing machines (e.g., Mimaki, Laser, Sublimation, Fargo, UV Printing, Laser Engraving)
