Create Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a Digital Experience Project Director for a two‑month freelance assignment starting immediately. You will own end‑to‑end delivery across three concurrent workstreams—planning, technical coordination and client communications—keeping teams aligned and delivering on time, within scope and budget.

You will translate business needs into technical specs and user stories, manage budgets and risks, and act as the primary client-facing liaison.

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering complex websites and apps in agency or product-led environments.
• End-to-end delivery across UX/UI, engineering, content, QA, data and analytics.
• Advanced experience with Jira and Confluence.

Digital Experience Project Director - Freelance | Two months | Immediate start

Based in Abu Dhabi, we're looking for a Freelance Project Director to lead delivery on a portfolio of digital products for a major Abu Dhabi client.

Create. is a strategic, digital creative communications agency building fans by connecting brave regional storytellers with their communities. We partner with the region's nation builders as well as some of the most exciting regional and global brands.

Our Digital Experience team builds and runs platforms that help tourists and residents plan experiences across the UAE. Over the next two months the work splits across maintenance and optimisation teams looking after website, applications and AI chatbots. We need a Project Director to own the delivery heartbeat across all three: planning, technical coordination, client communication, risk and QA, so that engineering, product and client stakeholders all work from one source of truth.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years delivering complex websites, mobile applications and platform-based digital products in agency or product-led environments
• Proven end-to-end technical delivery across UX, UI, engineering, content, QA, data and analytics, from discovery through launch and post-launch optimisation
• Strong command of Agile and Scrum, adapted to agency and client delivery models
• Advanced, hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence and similar delivery and documentation tools
• Fast starter who establishes structure and momentum in week one, not month one
• Calm, clear communicator who sets expectations early and drives decisions rather than waiting for them
