Qualifications

• 5+ years in risk control, fraud risk, or risk strategy in fintech/crypto or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with at least one risk domain (phishing, scam, payment fraud, account takeover, or abuse).
• Strong investigative and data analysis skills; able to work from data to action independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze fraud risk across the platform (payments, accounts, abuse).
• Investigate suspicious transactions, accounts, and user behaviors using data sources.
• Translate findings into detection signals, rules, and mitigations with data science/engineering teams.
• Design risk controls (alerts, verifications) to prevent losses and improve processes.
• Track fraud trends and drive proactive prevention initiatives with stakeholders.
• Build metrics, dashboards, and case reviews to measure detection effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Customer Support, Legal & Compliance, and partners to embed risk controls.
